“ANSEO” – A Call to Action

Families of Kingswood Community College,

We are proud to announce that we have been chosen as one of a few pilot schools in the country for the new “ANSEO” attendance support programme. Minister for Education, Helen McEntee, officially launched this pilot today.

We need your help in this matter. This pilot is a call to action for school and parents to come together and turn the tide of absenteeism. Your support in this will greatly impact the Secondary School experience of your child and beyond.

We are asking all our families to

  • Prioritise attendance, every day
  • Prepare for school the night before
  • Do not book holidays during school year
  • Arrive on time (before 8.15)

We will provide

  • Clearer updates on attendance (VSWare)
  • 3-tier support system
  • Celebrating student’s attendance

Students deserve high expectations and we should expect them to attend school as much as absolutely possible.
