Once Wriggle has been informed by the school that your child has left, they will remove the device from the MDM system.
(Note: Wriggle are provided a list of 6th years leaving the school after the Leaving Cert Exams finish. This is done automatically. If your child leaves the college before this, you must request the school contact Wriggle at that time.)
After this is completed, students must complete the following process:
For MDM removal to fully take effect the iPad will need to be restored back to factory settings. Please ensure you back up any important data before doing this.
This can be done two different ways. Firstly through the settings app on the device. (Settings -> General -> Transfer or Reset iPad -> Erase All Content and Settings). If this option is not available you can also use any laptop or PC running the iTunes program. Open iTunes on your machine and connect the iPad via the charging cable. Once the device appears in the iTunes window you will be able to right click the device icon and choose the restore option.
