Dear Parent/Guardian,

We hope this e mail finds you well and safe. Our 5^th year students have completed their first week back in the building and in face-to-face lessons. We would like to commend the students on how they have settled back into school. We also want to acknowledge all the hard work that continues to be completed by our other year groups in online school.

• Due to COVID restrictions, we will make an amendment to our Uniform Policy over the coming weeks. Heating in the school continues to be turned on for the duration of the school day, and all classroom windows and doors are open to allow for adequate ventilation in classrooms. Students may wear their full school uniform as usual, or they may choose to wear their school track suit. No other items of clothing that are not part of the school uniform should be worn. This includes hoodies, jackets, etc. If extra layers are required by students, they should be worn under their school uniform or track suit.

• Any students coming to school on electric sccoters/bicycles will need to lock the scooters/bicycles at the bike rack behind the school. Students will not be permitted to bring scooters/bicycles into the school building. Students should dismount from scooters/bicycles, etc before they enter the school grounds. The school accepts no responsibility for these scooters/bicycles while they are on the school premises.

• The Dublin Learning City Festival is a fantastic FREE event to celebrate and promote learning for individuals from all walks of life through fun and creative workshops and activities. The Festival will focus on new and existing community-based initiatives to promote learning among a variety of different groups in Dublin.
  The Festival will consist of a wide range of workshops and classes, and overall it will be an exciting and educational online festival for all to enjoy!
  From drama workshops and virtual gallery tours to cooking demonstrations and gardening tutorials, there will be something for everyone at the Dublin Learning City Festival! For more information, visit dublinlearningcity.ie.
